About us

The True Deliverance Church of God - Manassas began to conduct services on Zoom on January 10, 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic that had caused many churches, schools, and businesses to shut down. Although there were churches closing their doors, we had faith that God was telling us to step out to begin a magnificent work in Manassas. The first sermon preached by Pastor-Elect Ellerbe was, “A Kingdom Minded Church.”

On March 28, 2021, ordination services were held at TrueDeliverance Church of God Ministries in Bealeton, Virginia, where Bishop Alvin D. Venson, Sr., Presiding Prelate of True Deliverance Church of God Ministries, Inc., ordained Elder Charles Ellerbe as Pastor, with Evangelist Beverly Ellerbe as Elect Lady of True Deliverance Church of God – Manassas.

After coming under the charter of True Deliverance Church of God Ministries, Inc., TDCOG-Manassas began to officially hold services at Comfort Suites on Williamson Boulevard in Manassas, Virginia on the first and third Sundays of each month, and the second and fifth Sundays on Zoom, which we refer to as “The Zoom Room,” while diligently searching for a building of our own. Later in 2021, we began to conduct fourth Sunday services at the Comfort Suites hotel. The church theme is based on Romans 12:2 — “A Kingdom Minded Church.” The vision is “A church consisting of transformed believers living according to a biblical worldview,” where the mission is to “Teach biblically-based messages and practical application with Christ-Centered teaching.” Also, God has blessed us to establish a mission in Tobe Tek Singh, Pakistan, with Pastor-Elect Faryad Younas and his wife Lady Ribqa.
